My worthy adversary

I have a staph infection in my upper lip. MRSA, says my doctor. I don't remember ever being debilitated by pain before. And that's under the influence of prescription-strength pain-killers...

I'm supposed to go back to the doctor on Thursday. I'm just hoping my face doesn't explode in a conflagration of pus between now and then.
